Acacia melanoxylon - "Blackwood"
Excelent indigenous fast growing bushy small tree, great for windbreaks.

Acmena smithii - "Lilly Pilly"

Dense small tree rarely exceeding 12metres in cultivation. White flowers followed by pink edible fruit 8-20mm in diameter.

Agonis flexuosa - "Peppermint Willow"

Medium sized spreading tree witrh pendulous habit. Clusters of small white flowers appear along stems in spring.

Allocassuarina littoralis - "She-oak"

Indigenous small leafless tree, brachlets give a needle like appearance. Soft and graceful.

Brachychiton populneus - "Kurrajong"

Medium size tree with dense rounded crown. Bell shaped flower, white with red/brown centre. Good fodder tree.

Eucalyptus caesia - "Silver Princess"

Graceful, weeping small tree reaching a maximum of 10metres with silver branches and big red flowers.

Eucalyptus ficifolia - "Red Flowering Gum"

Eucalyptus Pauciflora - "Snow Gum"

Smaller tree with twisted multi-coloured trunk and branches.

Eucalyptus tereticornis - "Forest Red Gum".


Eucalyptus viminalis - "Manna Gum"

Indigenous, fast growing tall tree. Favoured koala food.

Hakea laurina - "Pin-cusion Hakea"

Stunning flowers, worth a try although this small tree can be prone to blowing over. Ours were blown flat at a young age but continue to grow up with a horizontal trunk!?!.

Lephostemon confurtus - "Queensland Brush Box"

Magnificent, dense, tall tree. Shiny leaves are borne in whorls. White feathery flowers in spring and summer. Seen as street tree in Sale, Traralgon and throughout gippsland. Excellent Tree!!
